Reference build, prototype

An agent balances material stock across plants.

We built this reference to test our own patterns. An agent asks the MCP gateway about one material, the gateway queries several SAP systems, and the agent flags shortages and surplus and recommends transfers between plants. It is not a client project.

What the build contains

    MCP gateway

    In SAP Integration Suite, connected to API Management and the identity provider.

    Plant-wide lookup

    One tool call fans out to every plant system and returns stock and demand for the material.

    Recommendations, not postings

    The agent flags shortages and surplus and proposes transfers. A planner decides, and nothing is posted without approval.

    Audit and tracing

    One trace ID from the agent to every plant system and back.
